Friendly Reminder: Pet Waste Cleanup

As the Managing Agent for Collin Creek Townhome Owners Association, Inc., Essex would like to remind everyone about the community expectations under Section 2.8 “Animals – Household Pets” of our CCRs, especially as it relates to pet waste cleanup.

Key Reminder: Please Clean Up After Your Pets
• Pet owners are required to promptly pick up and properly dispose of all pet waste from yards, common areas, sidewalks, and landscaping.
• Leaving pet droppings unattended is not only unsightly, but it can pose health risks and degrade the appearance of our shared spaces.
• Please carry bags when walking your pets and use trash receptacles to dispose of waste.

Why This Matters
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment benefits everyone — pets, children, and neighbors alike.
• Consistent enforcement of these rules helps preserve property values and the quality of life in our community.
• The CCRs (Section 2.8) expressly require that pet owners be responsible for the sanitary upkeep of their pet’s waste.

Failure to comply with these standards may lead to enforcement violations and fines, as detailed in the CCRs.
